Cameroonians have taken to social media to ripe the lord mayor of Buea municipality Ekema Patrick Esunge apart following his comments on CRTV’s Cameroon calling this morning.
The controversial mayor irked the population when he said if found guilty the church leaders “should face full consequences’ including jail times for what he term “misappropriation of funds by the school proprietors and yet failing to pay their teachers all these while.
The comments of the “political Maradona” as he is fondly called did not go well with many Cameroonians as they instantly took to Facebook to express their anger at the Mayor.
Many were quick to remind the landlord of Buea municipality that he has no moral ground to talk about justice and religious matters after his fake certificates allegations. One facebook user by name Julius Atanga says “ Lawless country. Where fraudsters are allowed to serve even when caught red handed.”
Another with the name Ambazonian Cameroon adds that “HE SHOULD ALSO FACE THE CONSEQUENCES IF FOUND GUILTY OF FAKING CERTIFICATES”Others were quick to point out the striking council workers as one uers wrote “No be councils workers for Buea di cry say this idiot nover pay them for 25 months” and yet one user simply questions if the lord mayor have the moral authority to discuss about justice despite the recent scandal
