Trump’s America: 7000 Ghanaians face deportation from US as other African families hold their breath


There is a new sheriff in town and that is Trump. Republican firebrand leader Donald J Trump promised during his campaign that he will send packing millions of undocumented immigrants from the United States and create more jobs, reduce crime in the “paradise” nation.

Trump is making good on his promise with a string of executive orders to that effect, appointing immigration hardliners to key position of responsibilities as many African families who badly depend on their relatives in the US for livelihood waits in despair.

Us ambassador to Ghana Robert Jackson who also served in similar capacity in Cameroon made matters worse  during an interview with  a local media in the country when he says up to 7000 Ghanaians  alone faced deportation over visa related offences and there will certainly be hundreds of more across the  continent according to Africanews

Many families have been left worried as no one really knows whose Trump immigration hammer will hit and the next arrivals from US might just be that your relative
