Kenya: Over 40 killed in Kenya fuel tank explosion on Saturday.
According deputy county commissioner Isaac Masinde on Sunday morning,the death toll of the explosion have risen to 40 after fuel tanker explosion near Karai in central Kenya on Saturday night after the truck hit several vehicles before exploding on a busy highway.The police indicate that the truck driver lost control of the vehicle on the busy Nairobi-Naivasha Highway, 80 kilometres west of the capital Nairobi, and then hit the vehicles infront of it before exploding together with 12 other vehicles. Egypt: bomb blast at Cairo Coptic cathedral kills at least 25 people
Egyptiian state media is reporying tht a bomb last at the Coptic cathedral has killed 25 people. was one of the deadliest against the country’s Christian minority in recent memory.
Another 35 people were injured, Egyptian state TV reported, when the bomb exploded in a chapel close to the outer wall of St Mark’s Cathedral, the seat of Egypt’s Orthodox Christian church and home to the office of its spiritual leader, Pope Tawadros I. There was no immediate claim of responsibility for Sunday’s attack.
