All Eyes on Bamenda as the nation hold its breath

The much talk about meeting between the yang committee and the representatives of the striking teachers is ongoing as planned amidst heavy security deployment in the northwest chief town of Bamenda. The meeting which is taking place at the governor’s, office is indeed a success by itself considering the massive call from some activist  for boycott.

 The prime minister and head of Government Philemon yang had called on both parties to negotiate in good faith and put country first above personal interests in the opening hours of the deliberations, reports say. The nation awaits the outcome of this dialogue to ensure the effective resumption of schools come january which has been on  strike for over three wes now die to some grievances. The inter ministerial community and striking teachers have been in conclave since 8 am  talks are ongoing, we sish they come up with compromise and put the children back to school.
